Sorry about this...

Hi All
This should have been my holiday post, but its not. I got back from my holiday on Sunday and I had a really nice time, but I have been ill and Im still not feeling great (I may talk about this in more detail in another post). I also have quite a bit of school work to get done before I go back to school next week so I have not had time to go through my holiday pictures and create a post, so this is a little message explaining why. Sorry about this and I am still really looking forward to talking about my holiday, I did have a really nice time.
Once again sorry about this blogging fail on my behalf, hopefully next week I will back better than ever.
Thank you for reading.
Bye for now, see you next week!

Hi all
Hope you're having a nice week! While you are reading this I am on holiday in Croatia, so I am writing this post in advance and scheduling it so, hopefully it goes up on time. I love this pizza it tastes so good, I especially, like the avocado on this pizza!

You Will Need
175g of Classic Ciabatta bread mix plus a bit extra for dusting
3 tsp olive Oil
Large handful of basil leaves
225g Mixed tomatoes
125g Mozzarella
1 Avocado
Splash of lemon juice
(any other toppings you want on your pizza)

Preheat the oven to 240'c/fan 220'c/gas mark 9
First, put the Classic Ciabatta bread mix in a bowl and pour 125ml/1/2cup of lukewarm water and 1tbsp of olive oil, then mix until it becomes a sticky dough.

knead for a few minutes and place in an oiled bowl, cover with a tea towel and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile finely chop most of  basil leaves (leaving a few for the top of the pizza) in a blender with the remainder oil.

Then chop the mozzarella cheese into rough chunks and chop the tomatoes in half and drain (I find squeezing the tomatoes in kitchen roll or a tea towel works best) this stops the pizza base from becoming to soggy.

Next chop the avocado and toss in a bowl with the lemon juice

After 15 minutes the dough should have risen. Take the dough out of the bowl and flour the surface.

Next roll out the dough to the pizza shape you want.

Place your pizza on a baking tray or pizza tray.

Then brush over the chopped basil and pile up topping, mozzerella and the tomatoes. Then bake for 10-15 minutes or until the base is crispy and the cheese has melted. When cooked scatter over the avocado,  remainder basil leaves and season.

What's in my Suitcase!

Hi all
Hope you've had a nice week! As I am writing this I am sat in a car on the way to visit my auntie, uncle and little cousins before I then go on holiday to Croatia. So this week I have decided to do a post about what's in my suitcase! I am of course not going to list everything because it's mostly just your basic clothing, shampoos, suncream e.t.c., but I have picked out a few things to show you and talk about!

First thing, this is the suitcase I will be taking with me! It's quite big, but fits everything in well and I really like the pattern . Its from revelationlondon, its a hard suitcase and has a lock on.

Here are some of my favourite clothes that I will be taking with me to Croatia. Above are some basic new look shorts, but they are so comfy! The two tops below are also both from new look, and the loose fitted summer trousers are from next

I am taking this jumper, although it probably won't be in my suitcase because I'm planning on wearing on the flight. I often find I get cold on planes! I really love this jumper, it's so comfy! It also seems to blend into the background. It's by Fabulous Hannah the message behind this is "no rain no flowers" as you may tell from the embroidered detail and you can find it at Red Hare.

 Preparing for the weather!

Hopefully it won't rain too much in Croatia but its always best to be prepared! This is a rain mac I bought in a Tesco sale because I really like the floral print.

Sunglasses! I have packed my sunglasses! I really like these sunglasses I have spoken about these on this blog before (in my summer outfit post.), but yes I love them and they are coming with me to Croatia, and I hope for sun!

Make up!
I have spoken about this make up bag before on this blog (on my What I got for my Birthday post)
I love that it has a dog on that looks like mine! Inside my holiday make up bag I have:
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation  - Love this foundation!!
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer  - somehow escaped the picture!

I have also got a separate roll up thing (not sure what it's called) for my make up brushes this is from Boots it has elastic things to hold the makeup brushes in place and has a zipped pocket at the end that fits my eyelash curlers and tweezers. I use the real techniques bold metal collection make up brushes which I love! There is also another brush in there that I use but not sure of the brand.

Thank you for reading, Hope you enjoyed! What's your favourite holiday\summer make up item?
Bye for now, see you next week!

Summer Mocktail (Strawberry, Mint and Lime)

Hi all
I hope your having a nice summer! Today I am going to share how to make this simple mocktail! It only contains 4 ingredients and is really simple to make!

You Will Need

8 Strawberries
1 or 2 Limes depending on their size
A few mint leaves

First wash the strawberries then cut the leaves off and slice them in half.

Then put the strawberries into a small blender and blend, you may want to add a bit of water to the strawberry if they don't blend easily.

Juice the limes and ensure no pips go into the drink, then add the strawberry mixture to the lime juice. Add the sprite to the lime and strawberry mixture and stir.

Next crush/squeeze the mint leaves this is supposed to releases the mint flauvor into the drink. You can also add two mint leaves to the top of the drink and a strawberry on the side for decoration

And your done! Add a straw if you want and enjoy!

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoy! Let me know if you have a go at making it in the comments below!

In Flight Essentials!

Hi all,
I hope you've had a lovely week! It is now August, where has the time gone? August is (at least in the UK) the most popular month to go on holiday, making now a good time to share my In Flight Essentials!

First thing is a bag, quite obvious, you're going to need somewhere to put this stuff!
I have chosen this fairly small Accessorize rucksack to take with me! I like using a rucksack because that way you still have your hands free to wheel your suitcase and whatever else you have to carry, I also really like the pattern on this bag!

Next thing I am going to be bringing is this mini colouring book. I like doodling and colouring to pass time and colouring is quite calming as there's not a lot to think about. You can't really tell from the picture but both the book and pencils are small and perfect for traveling!

Next thing, well three things! I am going to to be taking hand sanitiser because seriously planes and definitely airpots are gross, full of germs so in order to feel clean I think hand sanitiser is very important especially if you're going to want to eat on the plane! Then I also think hand cream and lip balm are very important to keep you feeling at your best. I also think the best kind of lip care for traveling is one that is on a stick so you don't have to use fingers to put it on!

Finally I have a book to read! I have actually read Everything Everything (and really enjoyed it) so I am going to take "The Sun is Also a Star" also by Nicola Yoon but it hasn't arrived in the post yet!

Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed! What do you think is the most important thing to take on a flight? And what books are you enjoying at the moment? Let me know in the comments below!
Bye for now, see you next week!
